The trio Warelis / de Joode / Govaert emerged from Amsterdam’s flourishing improvised music circuit and unites two generations of improvisers: the young, up-and-coming Onno Govaert and Marta Warelis with ‘old dog’ and Boy Edgar Prize winner 2016 Wilbert de Joode.

Together, they dip into a rich source of experiences and ideas to create music that is urgent and extremely flexible – always in search of the perfect sound.
